योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-2, chapter-1, verse-40

व्यासादधिक एवाहं व्यासशिष्योऽसि तत्सुतः ।
भोगेच्छातानवेनेह मत्तोऽप्यत्यधिको भवान् ॥ ४० ॥
vyāsādadhika evāhaṃ vyāsaśiṣyo'si tatsutaḥ ,
bhogecchātānaveneha matto'pyatyadhiko bhavān 40
40. vyāsāt adhikaḥ eva aham vyāsaśiṣyaḥ asi tatsutaḥ
bhogecchātānāvena iha mattaḥ api atyadhikaḥ bhavān
40. aham vyāsāt adhikaḥ eva tvam vyāsaśiṣyaḥ tatsutaḥ asi
iha bhogecchātānāvena api mattaḥ atyadhikaḥ bhavān
40. Indeed, I am superior to Vyasa. You are his disciple and son. Yet, here, due to the attenuation of the desire for worldly pleasures, you are even more superior than I.
