योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-2, chapter-1, verse-27

परिज्ञातस्वभावं तं शुकं स जनको नृपः ।
आनीतं मुदितात्मानमवलोक्य ननाम ह ॥ २७ ॥
parijñātasvabhāvaṃ taṃ śukaṃ sa janako nṛpaḥ ,
ānītaṃ muditātmānamavalokya nanāma ha 27
27. parijñātasvabhāvam tam śukam saḥ janakaḥ
nṛpaḥ ānītam muditātmānam avalokya nanāma ha
27. saḥ nṛpaḥ janakaḥ parijñātasvabhāvam ānītam
muditātmānam tam śukam avalokya nanāma ha
27. King Janaka, having seen that Śuka, whose intrinsic nature (svabhāva) was fully understood and who had arrived with a joyful spirit (ātman), indeed bowed (to him).
