योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-2, chapter-1, verse-20

आवेदितोऽसौ याष्टीकैर्जनकाय महात्मने ।
द्वारि व्याससुतो राजञ्शुकोऽत्र स्थितवानिति ॥ २० ॥
āvedito'sau yāṣṭīkairjanakāya mahātmane ,
dvāri vyāsasuto rājañśuko'tra sthitavāniti 20
20. āveditaḥ asau yāṣṭīkaiḥ janakāya mahātmane
dvāri vyāsa-sutaḥ rājan śukaḥ atra sthitavān iti
20. asau yāṣṭīkaiḥ mahātmane janakāya āveditaḥ.
(te ūcuḥ:) "rājan,
vyāsa-sutaḥ śukaḥ atra dvāri sthitavān" iti.
20. He (Shuka) was announced by the doorkeepers (yāṣṭīkaiḥ) to the great-souled (mahātmane) Janaka: "O king (rājan), Vyasa's son Shuka is standing here at the door (dvāri)."
