योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-2, chapter-1, verse-12

केवलं विररामास्य चेतो विगतचापलम् ।
भोगेभ्यो भूरिभङ्गेभ्यो धाराभ्य इव चातकः ॥ १२ ॥
kevalaṃ virarāmāsya ceto vigatacāpalam ,
bhogebhyo bhūribhaṅgebhyo dhārābhya iva cātakaḥ 12
12. kevalam virarāma asya cetaḥ vigatacaapalam
bhogebhyaḥ bhūribhaṅgebhyaḥ dhārābhyaḥ iva cātakaḥ
12. asya vigatacaapalam cetaḥ kevalam bhūribhaṅgebhyaḥ bhogebhyaḥ virarāma,
cātakaḥ dhārābhyaḥ iva
12. His mind (cetas), now freed from restlessness, merely turned away from worldly enjoyments (bhoga) that are full of many flaws, just as a Cātaka bird (cātaka) turns away from (other) streams of water (dhārā).
