योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-2, chapter-1, verse-36

अविच्छिन्नचिदात्मैकः पुमानस्तीह नेतरत् ।
स्वसंकल्पवशाद्बद्धो निःसंकल्पश्च मुच्यते ॥ ३६ ॥
avicchinnacidātmaikaḥ pumānastīha netarat ,
svasaṃkalpavaśādbaddho niḥsaṃkalpaśca mucyate 36
36. avicchinnacitātmaikaḥ pumān asti iha na itarat
sva-saṅkalpa-vaśāt baddhaḥ niḥsaṅkalpaḥ ca mucyate

sva-saṅkalpa-vaśāt baddhaḥ ca niḥsaṅkalpaḥ mucyate
36. Here, the one unbroken consciousness (ātman), the supreme cosmic person (puruṣa), exists; nothing else does. This supreme cosmic person (puruṣa) is bound by the power of his own conceptualization and is liberated by becoming free from conceptualization.
