वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-27, verse-6

स तु दीनः परित्रस्तो महेन्द्रो रावणं प्रति ।
विष्णोः समीपमागत्य वाक्यमेतदुवाच ह ॥६॥
6. sa tu dīnaḥ paritrasto mahendro rāvaṇaṃ prati ,
viṣṇoḥ samīpamāgatya vākyametaduvāca ha.

prati viṣṇoḥ samīpam āgatya vākyam etat uvāca ha

6. But that distraught and greatly frightened Mahendra (Indra), concerning Rāvaṇa, came near Viṣṇu and spoke these words.
