वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-44, verse-9

नावमन्यो भवद्भिश्च हरिः क्रूरपराक्रमः ।
दृष्टा हि हरयः शीघ्रा मया विपुलविक्रमाः ॥९॥
9. nāvamanyo bhavadbhiśca hariḥ krūraparākramaḥ ,
dṛṣṭā hi harayaḥ śīghrā mayā vipulavikramāḥ.
9. na avamanyo bhavadbhiḥ ca hariḥ krūraparākramaḥ
dṛṣṭā hi harayaḥ śīghrāḥ mayā vipulavikramāḥ
9. bhavadbhiḥ ca ayam hariḥ krūraparākramaḥ na avamanyo [asti].
mayā hi śīghrāḥ vipulavikramāḥ harayaḥ dṛṣṭāḥ.
9. This monkey, with his formidable power, should not be underestimated by you. Indeed, I have seen many swift monkeys of immense valor.
