न ह्यहं तं कपिं मन्ये कर्मणा प्रतितर्कयन् ।
सर्वथा तन्महद्भूतं महाबलपरिग्रहम् ।
भवेदिन्द्रेण वा सृष्टमस्मदर्थं तपोबलात् ॥६॥

6. na hyahaṃ taṃ kapiṃ manye karmaṇā pratitarkayan ,

bhavedindreṇa vā sṛṣṭamasmadarthaṃ tapobalāt.

Indeed, observing his deeds (karma), I do not consider him a mere monkey. By all means, that is a great being (bhūta) endowed with immense strength. It must have been created by Indra for our sake, through the power of his austerities (tapas).
