तदेव वीरः परिगृह्य तोरणं कृतक्षणः काल इव प्रजाक्षये ॥३९॥

39. tataḥ kapistāndhvajinīpatīn raṇe nihatya vīrān sabalān savāhanān ,

39.
Then that hero (kapi), having slain those brave army commanders along with their forces and vehicles in battle, and having seized that very archway (toraṇa), became like Time (kāla) itself at the moment of the destruction of all beings (prajākṣaya).
