वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-10, verse-10

अवध्यो वध्यतां को वा वध्यः को वा विमुच्यताम् ।
दरिद्रः को भवत्वाढ्यो द्रव्यवान् वाप्यकिंचनः ॥१०॥
10. avadhyo vadhyatāṃ ko vā vadhyaḥ ko vā vimucyatām ,
daridraḥ ko bhavatvāḍhyo dravyavān vāpyakiṃcanaḥ.
