When the lord of the ascendant, the lord of the sign occupied by the ascendant lord, the lord of the sign occupied by that (second) lord, and the lord of the navamsha occupied by that (third) lord — these planetary rulers are located in an angular (kendra) house, a trine (kona) house, or in their own exaltation sign, this planetary combination (yoga) is considered Kalpadruma (yoga).
