लग्नेशे तुङ्गगे केन्द्रे गुरुदृष्टे तु चामरः ।
शुभद्वये विलग्ने वा नवमे दशमे मदे ॥११॥

11. lagneśe tuṅgage kendre gurudṛṣṭe tu cāmaraḥ .
śubhadvaye vilagne vā navame daśame made.

11. lagna-īśe tuṅgage kendre guru-dṛṣṭe tu cāmaraḥ
| śubha-dvaye vilagne vā navame daśame made

11. When the lord of the ascendant (lagna) is exalted (tuṅga), located in a quadrant (kendra) house, and aspected by Jupiter (guru), the Chāmara Yoga is formed. Alternatively, this yoga is formed when two benefics are in the ascendant (lagna), or in the ninth, tenth, or seventh house.
