मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-77, verse-5

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
ततः सा चपलां दृष्टिं देवी चक्रे भयाकुला ।
विलोलितदृशं दृष्ट्वा पुनराह च तां रविः ॥५॥
5. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
tataḥ sā capalāṃ dṛṣṭiṃ devī cakre bhayākulā .
vilolitadṛśaṃ dṛṣṭvā punarāha ca tāṃ raviḥ.
5. mārkaṇḍeyaḥ uvāca tataḥ sā capalām dṛṣṭim devī cakre
bhayākulā vilolitadṛśam dṛṣṭvā punaḥ āha ca tām raviḥ
5. Mārkaṇḍeya said: Then, the goddess (devī), distressed by fear (bhayākulā), cast a restless (capalām) gaze (dṛṣṭim). And having seen her with darting eyes (vilolitadṛśam), the Sun (Ravi) spoke to her again.
