मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-77, verse-40

सौम्यमूर्तिः शुभाकारो मम भर्ता भवेदिति ।
अभिसन्धिञ्च तपसो बुबुधेऽस्या दिवाकरः ॥४०॥
40. saumyamūrtiḥ śubhākāro mama bhartā bhavediti .
abhisandhiñca tapaso bubudhe'syā divākaraḥ.
40. saumyāmūrtiḥ śubhākāraḥ mama bhartā bhavet iti
abhisaṃdhim ca tapasaḥ bubudhe asyāḥ divākaraḥ
40. The Sun god (Divākara) understood her (Saṃjñā's) intention (abhisaṃdhi) in performing this austerity (tapas), which was, "May my husband have a gentle and auspicious form."
