संज्ञा च रविणा दृष्टा निमीलयति लोचने ।
यतस्ततः सरोषोर्ऽकः संज्ञां निष्ठुरमब्रवीत् ॥३॥

And when Saṃjñā was seen by the Sun, she closed her eyes. Due to this, the Sun (Arka), filled with anger, spoke harshly to Saṃjñā.
