इत्थं विवस्वतः सा तु बहुशः पृच्छतो यदा ।
नाचचक्षे ततः क्रुद्धो भास्वांस्तां शप्तुमुद्यतः ॥३५॥

35. itthaṃ vivasvataḥ sā tu bahuśaḥ pṛcchato yadā .
nācacakṣe tataḥ kruddho bhāsvāṃstāṃ śaptumudyataḥ.

When she did not reveal the truth, even after Vivasvat (Sūrya) questioned her repeatedly, then the luminous one (Sūrya) became enraged and was about to curse her.
