वानप्रस्थं समास्थाय चतुर्थाश्रममभ्यगात् ॥३८॥

His father too, being very intelligent, similarly in due course, embraced the forest-dweller stage (vānaprastha āśrama) and entered the fourth stage of life (āśrama).
