मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-37, verse-9

ततः स काशिभूपालमुदीर्णबलवाहनम् ।
स्वराज्यं प्राप्तुमागच्छद् बहुशः शरणं कृती ॥९॥
9. tataḥ sa kāśibhūpālamudīrṇabalavāhanam .
svarājyaṃ prāptumāgacchad bahuśaḥ śaraṇaṃ kṛtī.
9. tataḥ saḥ kāśibhūpālam udīrṇabalavāhanam
svarājyam prāptum āgacchat bahuśaḥ śaraṇam kṛtī
9. Then, the accomplished elder brother repeatedly sought refuge with the king of Kashi, whose army and conveyances were formidable, intending to regain his own kingdom.
