पितृशापकृताद्दुःखाद्दौर्मनस्यं व्यपेतु वः ।
एतावदुक्त्वा वचनं जगाम स्वाश्रमं मुनिः ।
चितयन्परमोदारं पक्षिणां वाक्यमीरितम् ॥४२॥

42. pitṛśāpakṛtādduḥkhāddaurmanasyaṃ vyapetu vaḥ .
etāvaduktvā vacanaṃ jagāma svāśramaṃ muniḥ .
citayanparamodāraṃ pakṣiṇāṃ vākyamīritam.

42.
Let the dejection (daurmanasya) stemming from the suffering caused by the ancestral curse depart from you. Having uttered these words, the sage (muni) returned to his own hermitage (āśrama), pondering the exceedingly noble words spoken by the birds.
