मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-134, verse-30

लोभाद्वा यदि वा मोहाद्भयाद्वापि विशेषतः ।
पठेद्वा पाठयेद्वापि स गच्छेन्नरकं ध्रुवम् ॥३०॥
30. lobhādvā yadi vā mohādbhayādvāpi viśeṣataḥ .
paṭhedvā pāṭhayedvāpi sa gacchennarakaṃ dhruvam.
30. lobhāt vā yadi vā mohāt bhayāt vā api viśeṣataḥ |
paṭhet vā pāṭhayet vā api saḥ gacchet narakam dhruvam
30. Whoever reads (this text) or causes it to be read, whether from greed, or from delusion, or even especially from fear, will certainly go to hell.
