मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-134, verse-36

मार्कण्डेयपुराणमेतदखिलं शृण्वन्नशोच्यः पुमान्यो वा सम्यगुदीयरयेद्रसमयं शोच्यो न सोऽपि द्विज ।
योगज्ञानविशुद्धसिद्धिसहितः स्वर्गादिलोकेऽप्यसौ शक्राद्यैश्च सुरादिभिः परिवृतः स्वर्गे सदा पूज्यते ॥३६॥
36. mārkaṇḍeyapurāṇametadakhilaṃ śṛṇvannaśocyaḥ pumānyo vā samyagudīyarayedrasamayaṃ śocyo na so'pi dvija .
yogajñānaviśuddhasiddhisahitaḥ svargādiloke'pyasau śakrādyaiśca surādibhiḥ parivṛtaḥ svarge sadā pūjyate.
36. mārkaṇḍeyapurāṇam etat akhilam śṛṇvan na aśocyaḥ pumān
yaḥ vā samyak udīrayet rasamayam śocyaḥ na saḥ api
dvija yogajñānaviśuddhasiddhisahitaḥ svargādiloke api asau
śakrādyaiḥ ca surādibhiḥ parivṛtaḥ svarge sadā pūjyate
36. A person who listens to this entire Mārkaṇḍeya Purāṇa is not to be grieved for. Or, O twice-born, he who properly recites this delightful [Purāṇa] is also not to be grieved for. Such a one, endowed with perfection purified by spiritual discipline (yoga) and knowledge, is, even in heavenly and other realms, surrounded by Indra and other celestial beings, and is always worshipped in heaven.
