मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-134, verse-35

मुच्यतेऽनेकदुःखेभ्यो नित्यं चैव द्विजोत्तम ।
ऋद्धिर्वृद्धिः स्मृतिः शान्तिः श्रीः पुष्टिस्तुष्टिरेव च ।
नित्यं तस्य भवेद्विप्र यः शृणोति कथामिमाम् ॥३५॥
35. mucyate'nekaduḥkhebhyo nityaṃ caiva dvijottama .
ṛddhirvṛddhiḥ smṛtiḥ śāntiḥ śrīḥ puṣṭistuṣṭireva ca .
nityaṃ tasya bhavedvipra yaḥ śṛṇoti kathāmimām.
35. mucyate aneka duḥkhebhyaḥ nityam ca eva
dvijottama ṛddhiḥ vṛddhiḥ smṛtiḥ śāntiḥ
śrīḥ puṣṭiḥ tuṣṭiḥ eva ca nityam
tasya bhavet vipra yaḥ śṛṇoti kathām imām
35. O best among the twice-born, he is always freed from many sufferings. Prosperity, growth, memory, peace, wealth, nourishment, and contentment will always come to that Brahmin who listens to this story.
