मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-134, verse-15

ब्रह्महत्यादिपापानि यान्यन्यान्यशुभानि च ।
तानि सर्वाणि नश्यन्ति तृणं वातहतं यथा ॥१५॥
15. brahmahatyādipāpāni yānyanyānyaśubhāni ca .
tāni sarvāṇi naśyanti tṛṇaṃ vātahataṃ yathā.
15. brahmahatyādipāpāni yāni anyāni aśubhāni ca
tāni sarvāṇi naśyanti tṛṇam vātahatam yathā
15. Sins like killing a Brahmin (brahmahatyā) and whatever other inauspicious deeds (aśubha) there are, all those are destroyed, just like grass struck by wind.
