एतत्पुराणमखिलं वेदार्थैरुपबृंहितम् ।
धर्मशास्त्रैकनिलयं श्रुत्वा सर्वार्थमाप्नुयात् ॥१८॥

According to their capacity, kings should also give gifts like villages and vehicles. This entire Purāṇa, enriched by the meanings of the Vedas and being the sole foundation of the treatises on natural law (dharmaśāstra), ensures that by hearing it, one obtains all objectives.
