मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-134, verse-2

अस्माभिश्च श्रुतं तस्माद्यत्ते प्रोक्तं महामुने ।
अनादिसिद्धमेतद्धि पुरा प्रोक्तं स्वयंभुवा ॥२॥
2. asmābhiśca śrutaṃ tasmādyatte proktaṃ mahāmune .
anādisiddhametaddhi purā proktaṃ svayaṃbhuvā.
2. asmābhiḥ ca śrutam tasmāt yat te proktam mahāmune
anādisiddham etat hi purā proktam svayambhuvā
2. And O great sage, we have also heard from you that which you declared. Indeed, this eternally established teaching was formerly proclaimed by Svayambhu (Brahma) himself.
