अस्माभिश्च श्रुतं तस्माद्यत्ते प्रोक्तं महामुने ।
अनादिसिद्धमेतद्धि पुरा प्रोक्तं स्वयंभुवा ॥२॥

And O great sage, we have also heard from you that which you declared. Indeed, this eternally established teaching was formerly proclaimed by Svayambhu (Brahma) himself.
