महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-26, verse-23

समाप्तमद्य वै कर्म सर्वं कृष्ण भविष्यति ।
अद्य दुर्योधनो दीप्तां श्रियं प्राणांश्च त्यक्ष्यति ॥२३॥
23. samāptamadya vai karma sarvaṁ kṛṣṇa bhaviṣyati ,
adya duryodhano dīptāṁ śriyaṁ prāṇāṁśca tyakṣyati.

adya duryodhanaḥ dīptām śriyam prāṇān ca tyakṣyati
23. kṛṣṇa adya vai sarvam karma samāptam bhaviṣyati adya
duryodhanaḥ dīptām śriyam ca prāṇān ca tyakṣyati
23. Indeed, O Kṛṣṇa, all (his) actions (karma) will be concluded today. Today, Duryodhana will abandon his resplendent glory and his very life.
