महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-11, verse-55

एवं विचरतस्तस्य संग्रामे राजसत्तम ।
संप्रेषयच्छितान्पार्थः शरानाशीविषोपमान् ॥५५॥
55. evaṁ vicaratastasya saṁgrāme rājasattama ,
saṁpreṣayacchitānpārthaḥ śarānāśīviṣopamān.
55. evam vicarataḥ tasya saṃgrāme rājasattama
pārthaḥ śitān āśīviṣopamān śarān saṃpreṣayat
55. rājasattama evam saṃgrāme tasya vicarataḥ
pārthaḥ śitān āśīviṣopamān śarān saṃpreṣayat
55. O best of kings, as he (Shalya) was thus moving about in battle, Partha (Arjuna) dispatched sharp arrows resembling venomous serpents.
