The greatly renowned (mahāyaśāḥ) King of (dharma) (dharmarāja) [Yudhiṣṭhira], also very enraged, pierced the King of Madra (madrarāja) [Śalya] with sharp arrows that were feathered with both vulture (kaṅka) and peacock (barhiṇa) feathers.
