महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-11, verse-41

तथैव पाण्डवं राजन्विह्वलन्तं मुहुर्मुहुः ।
अपोवाह रथेनाजौ सारथिः शत्रुतापनम् ॥४१॥
41. tathaiva pāṇḍavaṁ rājanvihvalantaṁ muhurmuhuḥ ,
apovāha rathenājau sārathiḥ śatrutāpanam.

41. O King, similarly, his charioteer (Kṛṣṇa) drove the Pāṇḍava (Arjuna), the tormentor of enemies, who was repeatedly reeling and overcome, away from the battle in his chariot.
