महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-11, verse-13

कृतप्रतिकृते यत्नं कुर्वाणौ च महारणे ।
कृतप्रतिकृते यत्नं चक्राते तावभीतवत् ॥१३॥
13. kṛtapratikṛte yatnaṁ kurvāṇau ca mahāraṇe ,
kṛtapratikṛte yatnaṁ cakrāte tāvabhītavat.

kṛtapratikṛte yatnam cakrāte tau abhītavat
13. ca mahāraṇe tau kṛtapratikṛte yatnam kurvāṇau

13. And in the great battle, making an effort for attack and counter-attack (kṛtapratikṛta), those two fearlessly exerted themselves in action and reaction.
