महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-144, verse-26

सीदन्तं चैनमालोक्य कृपः शारद्वतो युधि ।
आजघ्ने बहुभिर्बाणैर्जिघांसन्निव भारत ॥२६॥
26. sīdantaṁ cainamālokya kṛpaḥ śāradvato yudhi ,
ājaghne bahubhirbāṇairjighāṁsanniva bhārata.

ājaghne bahubhiḥ bāṇaiḥ jighāṃsan iva bhārata

26. And having observed him dejected in battle, Kṛpa, son of Śaradvan, struck him with many arrows, as if intending to kill him, O Bhārata.
