महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-144, verse-2

कृतवैरौ तु तौ वीरावन्योन्यवधकाङ्क्षिणौ ।
शरैः पूर्णायतोत्सृष्टैरन्योन्यमभिजघ्नतुः ॥२॥
2. kṛtavairau tu tau vīrāvanyonyavadhakāṅkṣiṇau ,
śaraiḥ pūrṇāyatotsṛṣṭairanyonyamabhijaghnatuḥ.

2. Indeed, those two heroes, having become hostile to each other and desiring each other's death, struck each other with arrows shot fully drawn from their bows.
