महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-143, verse-35

सारथिं चास्य भल्लेन ध्वजं च समपातयत् ।
रथं च शतशो राजन्व्यधमत्तस्य धन्विनः ॥३५॥
35. sārathiṁ cāsya bhallena dhvajaṁ ca samapātayat ,
rathaṁ ca śataśo rājanvyadhamattasya dhanvinaḥ.
35. sārathim ca asya bhallena dhvajam ca samapātayat
ratham ca śataśaḥ rājan vyadhamat tasya dhanvinaḥ
35. rājan asya sārathim dhvajam ca bhallena samapātayat
ca tasya dhanvinaḥ ratham śataśaḥ vyadhamat
35. O King, he struck down his charioteer and his banner with an arrow. He also shattered that archer's chariot into hundreds of pieces.
