महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-140, verse-7

सहदेवमथायान्तं द्रोणप्रेप्सुं महारथम् ।
कर्णो वैकर्तनो राजन्वारयामास पाण्डवम् ॥७॥
7. sahadevamathāyāntaṁ droṇaprepsuṁ mahāratham ,
karṇo vaikartano rājanvārayāmāsa pāṇḍavam.

7. O king, then Karṇa, the son of Vikartana, halted the great warrior, the Pāṇḍava Sahadeva, who was advancing, eager to reach Droṇa.
