महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-140, verse-10

शिखण्डिनमथायान्तं रथेन रथिनां वरम् ।
कृपो शारद्वतो राजन्वारयामास संयुगे ॥१०॥
10. śikhaṇḍinamathāyāntaṁ rathena rathināṁ varam ,
kṛpo śāradvato rājanvārayāmāsa saṁyuge.

varam kṛpaḥ śāradvataḥ rājan vārayāmāsa saṃyuge
10. rājan atha śāradvataḥ kṛpaḥ saṃyuge rathena

10. Then, O king, Kṛpa, the son of Śaradvan, in battle stopped Śikhaṇḍin, the foremost among charioteers, who was approaching in his chariot.
