महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-140, verse-18

तथान्यान्पाण्डुपुत्राणां समायातान्महारथान् ।
तावका रथिनो राजन्वारयामासुरोजसा ॥१८॥
18. tathānyānpāṇḍuputrāṇāṁ samāyātānmahārathān ,
tāvakā rathino rājanvārayāmāsurojasā.

tāvakāḥ rathinaḥ rājan vārayām āsuḥ ojasā

18. Similarly, your chariot-warriors, O King, with their might, checked the other great chariot-warriors who had arrived from the sons of Pāṇḍu.
