महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-123, verse-14

तस्मादस्यावलेपस्य सद्यः फलमवाप्नुहि ।
त्वया तस्य धनुश्छिन्नमात्मनाशाय दुर्मते ॥१४॥
14. tasmādasyāvalepasya sadyaḥ phalamavāpnuhi ,
tvayā tasya dhanuśchinnamātmanāśāya durmate.
14. tasmāt asya avalepasya sadyaḥ phalam avāpnuhi
tvayā tasya dhanuḥ chinnam ātmanāśāya durmate
14. tasmāt asya avalepasya phalam sadyaḥ avāpnuhi durmate,
tvayā ātmanāśāya tasya dhanuḥ chinnam
14. Therefore, immediately reap the fruit of this arrogance (avalepa)! O evil-minded one (durmate), his bow was cut by you for your own destruction (ātmanāśa).
