महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-180, verse-28

नव चापि पृषत्कानां शतानि नतपर्वणाम् ।
प्राहिण्वं कङ्कपत्राणां जामदग्न्यरथं प्रति ॥२८॥
28. nava cāpi pṛṣatkānāṁ śatāni nataparvaṇām ,
prāhiṇvaṁ kaṅkapatrāṇāṁ jāmadagnyarathaṁ prati.

prāhiṇvam kaṅkapatrāṇām jāmadagnyaratham prati
28. ca api nataparvaṇām kaṅkapatrāṇām nava śatāni

28. And I also dispatched nine hundred arrows with bent shafts and heron feathers towards the chariot of Jamadagni's son (Paraśurāma).
