महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-70, verse-9

वृक्षेऽस्मिन्यानि पर्णानि फलान्यपि च बाहुक ।
पतितानि च यान्यत्र तत्रैकमधिकं शतम् ।
एकपत्राधिकं पत्रं फलमेकं च बाहुक ॥९॥
9. vṛkṣe'sminyāni parṇāni phalānyapi ca bāhuka ,
patitāni ca yānyatra tatraikamadhikaṁ śatam ,
ekapatrādhikaṁ patraṁ phalamekaṁ ca bāhuka.
9. vṛkṣe asmin yāni parṇāni phalāni
api ca bāhuka patitāni ca yāni atra
tatra ekam adhikam śatam ekapatrādikam
patram phalam ekam ca bāhuka
9. O Bahuka, the leaves and fruits on this tree, as well as those that have fallen here, total one hundred and one. O Bahuka, the number of leaves is one more than the fruits, and there is one fruit.
