महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-70, verse-29

ततो विषविमुक्तात्मा स्वरूपमकरोत्कलिः ।
तं शप्तुमैच्छत्कुपितो निषधाधिपतिर्नलः ॥२९॥
29. tato viṣavimuktātmā svarūpamakarotkaliḥ ,
taṁ śaptumaicchatkupito niṣadhādhipatirnalaḥ.
29. tataḥ viṣavimukta ātmā svarūpam akarot kaliḥ
tam śaptum aicchat kupitaḥ niṣadhādhipatiḥ nalaḥ
29. Then Kali, his self (ātman) freed from the poison, resumed his true form. Nala, the angered lord of Niṣadha, wished to curse him.
