महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-197, verse-28

अस्मिंस्त्वतिक्रमे ब्रह्मन्क्षन्तुमर्हसि मेऽनघ ।
पतिशुश्रूषया धर्मो यः स मे रोचते द्विज ॥२८॥
28. asmiṁstvatikrame brahmankṣantumarhasi me'nagha ,
patiśuśrūṣayā dharmo yaḥ sa me rocate dvija.
28. asmin tu atikrame brahman kṣantum arhasi me anagha
patiśuśrūṣayā dharmaḥ yaḥ saḥ me rocate dvija
28. But regarding this transgression, O sinless one (anagha) and Brahmin, you ought to forgive me. O twice-born one (dvija), the duty (dharma) which consists of serving one's husband, that is what pleases me.
