महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-197, verse-15

देवतातिथिभृत्यानां श्वश्रूश्वशुरयोस्तथा ।
शुश्रूषणपरा नित्यं सततं संयतेन्द्रिया ॥१५॥
15. devatātithibhṛtyānāṁ śvaśrūśvaśurayostathā ,
śuśrūṣaṇaparā nityaṁ satataṁ saṁyatendriyā.

śuśrūṣaṇa-parā nityam satatam saṃyata-indriyā
15. She was always and constantly devoted to serving deities, guests, and servants, as well as her mother-in-law and father-in-law, keeping her senses (indriyas) restrained.
