महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-106, verse-5

स तच्छ्रुत्वा वचो घोरं राजा मुनिमुखोद्गतम् ।
मुहूर्तं विमना भूत्वा स्थाणोर्वाक्यमचिन्तयत् ।
आत्मानमात्मनाश्वास्य हयमेवान्वचिन्तयत् ॥५॥
5. sa tacchrutvā vaco ghoraṁ rājā munimukhodgatam ,
muhūrtaṁ vimanā bhūtvā sthāṇorvākyamacintayat ,
ātmānamātmanāśvāsya hayamevānvacintayat.
5. saḥ tat śrutvā vacaḥ ghoram rājā
muni-mukha-udgatam muhūrtam vimanā bhūtvā
sthāṇoḥ vākyam acintayat ātmānam
ātmanā āśvāsya hayam eva anu-acintayat
5. Having heard that terrible statement issued from the sage's mouth, the king, becoming disheartened for a moment, contemplated the words of Sthāṇu (Śiva). Then, having composed himself by his own being (ātman), he focused his thoughts only on the horse.
