लोमश उवाच ।
ते तं दृष्ट्वा हयं राजन्संप्रहृष्टतनूरुहाः ।
अनादृत्य महात्मानं कपिलं कालचोदिताः ।
संक्रुद्धाः समधावन्त अश्वग्रहणकाङ्क्षिणः ॥१॥

te taṁ dṛṣṭvā hayaṁ rājansaṁprahṛṣṭatanūruhāḥ ,
anādṛtya mahātmānaṁ kapilaṁ kālacoditāḥ ,
saṁkruddhāḥ samadhāvanta aśvagrahaṇakāṅkṣiṇaḥ.

Lomasha said: O King, upon seeing that horse, their body hair stood on end. Impelled by time, they disregarded the great sage Kapila. Becoming very angry and desiring to seize the horse, they rushed forth.
