ततः प्रीतो महातेजाः कलिपोंऽशुमतोऽभवत् ।
उवाच चैनं धर्मात्मा वरदोऽस्मीति भारत ॥२३॥

uvāca cainaṁ dharmātmā varado'smīti bhārata.

uvāca ca enaṃ dharmātmā varadaḥ asmi iti bhārata

23. Then, the greatly radiant Kapila, being pleased, became favorable to Aṃśumat. And that righteous soul (dharmātmā) said to him, 'O Bhārata, I am the bestower of boons.'
