महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-106, verse-3

स चक्षुर्विवृतं कृत्वा तेजस्तेषु समुत्सृजन् ।
ददाह सुमहातेजा मन्दबुद्धीन्स सागरान् ॥३॥
3. sa cakṣurvivṛtaṁ kṛtvā tejasteṣu samutsṛjan ,
dadāha sumahātejā mandabuddhīnsa sāgarān.

dadāha sumahātejāḥ mandabuddhīn sagarān
3. He, possessed of immense energy (tejas), opened his eyes and, emitting his radiant power (tejas) upon them, burned those dull-witted sons of Sagara.
