महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-60, verse-2

अभिमन्योर्वधं वीरः सोऽत्यक्रामत भारत ।
अप्रियं वसुदेवस्य मा भूदिति महामनाः ॥२॥
2. abhimanyorvadhaṁ vīraḥ so'tyakrāmata bhārata ,
apriyaṁ vasudevasya mā bhūditi mahāmanāḥ.

apriyam vasudevasya mā bhūt iti mahāmanāḥ
2. bhārata saḥ vīraḥ mahāmanāḥ abhimanyoḥ vadham

2. O Bhārata, that great-minded hero (Krishna) omitted the narration of Abhimanyu's slaying, thinking, 'May this not be disagreeable to (Vasudeva).'
