महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-49, verse-45

शब्दः स्पर्शस्तथा रूपं त्रिगुणं ज्योतिरुच्यते ।
ज्योतिषश्च गुणो रूपं रूपं च बहुधा स्मृतम् ॥४५॥

45. śabdaḥ sparśastathā rūpaṁ triguṇaṁ jyotirucyate ,
jyotiṣaśca guṇo rūpaṁ rūpaṁ ca bahudhā smṛtam.
