महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-144, verse-50

तथा त्वमपि कौन्तेय ब्राह्मणान्सततं प्रभो ।
पूजयस्व महाभागान्वाग्भिर्दानैश्च नित्यदा ॥५०॥
50. tathā tvamapi kaunteya brāhmaṇānsatataṁ prabho ,
pūjayasva mahābhāgānvāgbhirdānaiśca nityadā.
50. tathā tvam api kaunteya brāhmaṇān satatam prabho
pūjayasa mahābhāgān vāgbhiḥ dānaiḥ ca nityadā
50. Similarly, O son of Kunti (Kaunteya), O lord, you too should constantly honor the highly revered brahmins with words and always with gifts (dāna).
