महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-30, verse-36

त्वयाहं प्रथमं शप्तो वानरस्त्वं भविष्यसि ।
इत्युक्तेन मया पश्चाच्छप्तस्त्वमपि मत्सरात् ।
अद्यप्रभृति वै वासं स्वर्गे नावाप्स्यसीति ह ॥३६॥

36. tvayāhaṁ prathamaṁ śapto vānarastvaṁ bhaviṣyasi ,
ityuktena mayā paścācchaptastvamapi matsarāt ,
adyaprabhṛti vai vāsaṁ svarge nāvāpsyasīti ha.

36. tvayā aham prathamam śaptaḥ vānaraḥ
tvam bhaviṣyasi iti uktena mayā paścāt
śaptaḥ tvam api matsarāt adya-prabhṛti
vai vāsam svarge na avāpsyasi iti ha

36. tvayā aham prathamam "tvam vānaraḥ bhaviṣyasi" (iti) śaptaḥ.
paścāt mayā uktena (vākyena),
matsarāt tvam api "adya-prabhṛti tvam vai svarge vāsam na avāpsyasi" iti ha śaptaḥ (asi).

36. You first cursed me saying, 'You will be a monkey.' Consequently, after I uttered that, you also were cursed by me out of envy: 'Indeed, from today onwards, you will not obtain residence in heaven.'
